POSITION : Account Manager
LOCATION : Beijing/Shanghai
DEPARTMENT : Sales
REPORTS TO : Senior BD consultant
POSITION PURPOSE
The focus of the Account Manager position is on business development targeting organizations that fit DDI’s Manager Ready bundled solution offering.
A key focus for this position is acquiring new accounts through prospecting, effective lead follow-up strategies and further developing the base of business with selective customers.
The Account Manager uncovers new business and responds to client demand recommending client-focused solutions configured from DDI’s core leadership development and selection solutions.
Specific product focus for this role will be on Manager Ready, IMEX, Targeted Selection and LII.
ACCOUNTABILITIES / DECISION MAKING
• Provide selection and development product expertise to clients and prospects.
• Create and implement a prospecting plan.
• Primarily manage business development by telephone.
• Analyze client databases and develop plans to prioritize activity to maximize revenue for the assignment and create value for customers.
• Conduct presentation or product demo (majority by telephone or via web) and develop discussion paper or proposal.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree, Good English in oral and written.
• relevant complex and prospecting experience
• Proven ability to sell intangibles with longer sales cycles
• Motivation for telephone sales and customer service
• Able to take initiative and learn quickly
• Successful experience in sales of conceptual integrated solutions, which solve business issues, is preferred.
