Sales Manager-RBM(2014-07)

Position: :Sales Manager RBM China
Business Unit:RBM                                                            
Location: Guangzhou                                                
Reports to: RBM China Commercial Director / Sales director Asia                                                          
Purpose of the job:
.Ensure growth and profitability of the RBM business in China
.Contact new prospects in key markets and drives new product qualifications together with the AT-team
.Provide market and customer information to the management based on thorough understanding of the local business and market dynamics

Strategic Focus:
(Describe the focus of the position over the next 1-3 years)
.Get full understanding of the China LIB market, in terms of end-applications, cell manufacturers and  cathode  (LCO,  NMC,  LFP)  market  size,  as  well  as  the  competitive  advantage  of  RBM,compared to our main competitors.
.Increase the RBM-sales in Chinese market, follow the growth of China LIB market, strengthen the RBM market position in China


Interfaces(Describe the main interfaces in & outside the organisation)
. Close interaction with existing RBM Korea and JUC
. The sales back-office team in China, Korea and Belgium
. The back office department in UMS SH


Required profile(Describe the skills required to exercise this job)
.University degree in Engineering/Economics/Science/Business Administration
.Work experience for minimum 7 years, preferably in a B2B commercial environment in metals and materials
.Good demonstrated technical understanding of metal-based materials. Experience in battery technology & cathode materials is an advantage
.Chinese (mother tongue),English(fluent)
.Natural Commercial and Sales talent 
.Planning and project management 
.Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills 
.Good negotiation skills 
.Strongly customer and service minded
.Strong IT skills (MS office, data management/analysis/reporting)
